The main focus of my website is the historical, archaeological, and genealogical research of cemeteries and burial grounds across New South Wales, with a particular emphasis on Sandgate Cemetery in Newcastle.
Through my project, Gone But Not Forgotten NSW, I document the lives, burials, headstones, family histories, and forgotten stories of those laid to rest in cemeteries throughout the Hunter Region and beyond. The website combines cemetery photography, archival research, newspaper records, genealogy, local history, and archaeological investigation to preserve and share the stories of past generations.
